Exciting News! We are thrilled to announce the lighting of Edmonton’s High Level Bridge on February 1st in celebration of Black History Month.

High Level Bridge, connecting 109 street over the North Saskatchewan River Wednesday, February 1, 2023
6am - sunrise and sunset - midnight

Check out the beautiful Pan-African inspired light up the bridge whose colours symbolize:
Red represents the blood the unites people of African descent
Yellow represents the richness of Africans
Green represents the abundant natural wealth of Africa

This bridge light up has been organized by @bom.yeg and supported by @cityofedmonton
