This event will be led and facilitated by prominent community leader and UofA alum Ivan Touko. Ivan is the Co-Founder and CEO of La Connexional, a social enterprise that empowers and promotes Afro, Black, Caribbean and Latinx cultures. The tutorial will be 1.5 hours long over Zoom and will incorporate African choreography with other dance styles. The aim is to provide all participants with an interactive event while celebrating black culture through the universal language of dance.
