As VP Finance, you will:
Oversee all financial activities of UABSA, including monitoring incoming and outgoing funds, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, and providing regular financial reports to the organization's leadership team.
Develop and implement effective grant-writing strategies to secure additional funding for UABSA's activities and initiatives.
Manage the logistics of UABSA's merchandise, ensuring that products are sourced, produced, and delivered on time and within budget.
Create, review, and approve event budgets for UABSA, and make necessary adjustments to ensure financial goals are met.
Monitor receipts and refunds for UABSA, and ensure that they are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide regular financial updates to UABSA's leadership team, including detailed rundowns of ticket sales and the organization's overall financial standing.
Collaborate closely with other members of UABSA's executive team to ensure that all planned spending is aligned with the organization's financial goals and objectives.
Play a key role in updating UABSA's scholarship package, working closely with other executives to ensure that scholarship funds are allocated effectively and efficiently.
